Dang, you can tell in the auction pics that there is almost no paint left. What a bummer. They were kinda cute when they are new.
February 20, 2007 at 4:56 pm #541687I’m gonna take a stab at repainting them. I have already matched the colors on some of my others that needed a touch up in a few places. Well, hopefully I can do a good job and maybe get them some what close to what they are supposed to look like.
February 20, 2007 at 5:03 pm #541688Good luck!!
February 21, 2007 at 11:10 pm #541689I am glad it worked out for you. I haven’t heard of those dragons before. Good luck painting. Post pics when your done.
February 22, 2007 at 12:23 am #541690I will definately post them when I am done. Just don’t know when I will get to them, I just got two more pyos in.
February 25, 2007 at 5:29 am #541691I didn’t want to start a new thread so I figured if this goes to the top of the list you guys would probably read it. Another liar on ebay. just my luck. I bought four more Dragon keep and they were all listed by the same seller listed as excellent condition on all four. On one you could so tell that the eye was glued back in and his foor was glued back on. On the other his eye was glued back in, wasn’t even done right and has a glob of glue comming out the side. The other one is totally missing his left front foot/hand and was painted green. The other is ok. but get this, all four were put into a small box and wrapped with plastic bags and shipped this way. i knew good things were not gonna come from this. I opened up the box and pieces fell out. All four were broke. Pretty clean breaks but still. I didn’t have insurance cause the seller offered none. i emailed the seller and I know there is not really anything I can do about them being broke in shipping but I did tell them about the three that were misrepresented in the auction and that I want something done about it. They lied about the auctions and I now have four broken little dragons. So 😥 sad!
February 25, 2007 at 5:37 am #541692Sorry to hear that, Adara. I thought the seller was pretty decent after the first fiasco, but this sure doesn’t speak in his favor.
February 25, 2007 at 5:46 am #541693I’m sorry GB I must of written it wrong. This is a different seller, another liar.
February 25, 2007 at 6:06 am #541694Oh, I see – I misunderstood. Thanks for clarifying.
February 25, 2007 at 8:09 am #541695You could try to dispute it with ebay saying he misrepresented the auction. Maybe you will get your money back.
February 25, 2007 at 10:15 am #541696I’m going to give the seller a chance first but if it can not be resolved that way then I will bring it up with ebay. One way or the other I’m not going to sweep this one under the rug.
February 25, 2007 at 1:29 pm #541697I thought it was the same seller, too. A different one, hu? Awful. I would def leave feedback stating he packs poorly.
February 25, 2007 at 9:34 pm #541698The seller contacted me back. Denied everything and said that you could see Droops foot broke off in the pic. Well, the auction says excellent condition so I wasn’t looking for something to be wrong with it. They should of stated that the foot was boken off in the description. Well anyways, the seller says to send them back and they will refund my money. I also mentioed something about the shipping to them. I paid $38.00 in shipping. The actual shipping cost was $8.50 and now I have to pay more shipping to send these guys back. I did ask the seller before I bought these guys if they combined shipping and they said no. Well then if I paid that much than these guys should of been shipped in their own individual boxes and packaged better. I said I wanted some of the shipping back too. I think that is fair.
February 25, 2007 at 10:36 pm #541699Sounds reasonable to me.
February 25, 2007 at 11:15 pm #541700$38! That’s ridiculous. They should have at least been double boxed individually with insurance, tracking, and everything else on it for that price! I’m sorry you have to go through this, Adara. I hope everything works out for you.
