The grand pegasus is probably the male pegasus. Melody is working on a grand pegasus, but it is still unfinished.

That’s what I thought, but she has a male pegasus listed as well.

I bought the Pink Lap, and I have purchased both through eBay and directly from this seller in the past.

It is a LOT of work listing so many pieces individually. She is listing what she has available, taking an offer on an item and then creating an auction for THAT person for THAT item for THAT price. She created a BIN auction for me, and I purchased the Pink Lap that way. In other words, the purchase was made through eBay, the same as any other auction, and thus covered by the eBay Protection Plan.

I have also purchased some,ok quite a few, pieces from her and was invoiced through Paypal! She has been very accomdating with prices and emails several times a day to keep me up to date as to were she is on gathering and shipping the item’s I’ve purchased from her. All I can say at this point so far so good. I’m quite pleased with this transaction so far.

For anyone who has bought from her, do her pieces ever smell of cigarette smoke? (thinking of buying a hatching dino)

Mine didn’t. I remember getting a piece once that did though. I put the piece outside in the fresh air for a while, and it cleared right up. I also remember reading that someone put theirs in a closed box with an odor absorbent to get rid of cigarette smoke.

Fresh air and time seem to work wonders for pieces that smell of smoke. I bought a Dark Peacock Oriental that came to me smelling as if it literally had had an ashtray dumped on it. Yucky!

After being on my shelf for about 2 months you can stick your nose against the felt, and not smell smoke even if you try. 🙂

I am more concerned about the tar that would be on a piece from possible smoke exposure, as opposed to the smell.

I wouldn’t be too concerned about tar. I bought a white male pegasus from a smoker, and it was so caked in smoke residue that it looked beige. But all it took was a five minute scrub with a soft cloth dampened with warm water to restore it to pristine white.

Well, I’m cautiously excited since she said she’d let me know if she had any more curlies that I wanted. So that’s excited. 🙂

And I scored a copper patina mother dragon with a BIN of $140 last night (from a different seller), so I’m super pleased at the moment. 😀

I know her, she has a few of my PYOs. A Diablo Keeper Dragon and a Pink Griffin I know of for sure. I also bought my Red Fire Old Warrior & Male Dragon with the magic invisible paint second hand from her.

To be fair, I heard A LOT of bad feedback stories about her when she was a member of the forum… it’s one of the reasons I think she left, but she was ALWAYS a complete pleasure to deal with as far as my experience with her. I can’t say enough positive things about my transactions with her.

It’s sad to see she is sick again. I had hoped she had gotten better.

What Bullsquid said. 🙂 There was tar on mine also, but I gave my DP Oriental a good cleaning with brush, soft cloth, and warm water and all of it came off.

I did this with a white Fledgie I bought also, who came from a smoking home. He had yellowed, but with a gentle cleaning, he matched a non-tar-stained White Lap. So even on a White dragon they come pretty clean!

I am not as sure about plastics though. You are right to be cautious there!

I saw that auction practically as soon as it went up, and I messaged her about two pieces. She asked really reasonable prices, but I thought the name looked familiar…and so I checked the forum feedback list. That was enough to make me not deal with her, and also I seem to attract ebay fiascos, so it seemed safer to just not touch it with a ten foot pole.

I contacted about a couple of pieces and wanted to see photos of the actual pieces. Was told to go to Windstone site and see them. I pressed a bit an was prommised photos, but they never arrived. I also got a REALLY creepy e-mail from the seller (which read as male in words and context). After that I never pursued any further. Next time I looked, the listing was down.

                              Life is beautiful.

I had a very negative experience w/ this seller. I won’t air dirty laundry, but anyone may pm me if they want more details because they are thinking of dealing w/ her.
