I saw that too, Hoofer. I tried for them when the auction was just starting out, thinking I could split them up and resell them. But it quickly went out of my range. However, that was a lucky deal for the seller because he or she started the auction really low, and it just got bid up that high.
March 24, 2008 at 11:17 pm #681682The peacock lap I ended up eBaying recently I’d started at $175, with a BIN of $225 I think it was. The 1st bidder put a high bid of $224.50 (or at least $0.50 less) on it it turned out 😯 . Umm, why not go for the extra $0.50 then? It ended up $305 to someone else, I don’t remember if the 1st bidder dropped another higher bid.
March 25, 2008 at 2:28 am #681683I’m not sure what Tiger and Puffin are here, but BDW if you’re getting them for $40 I may have to start getting you to buy my regular Production pieces!!
I know my prices probably really reflect the only area I can find that sells Windstones, since I can only find 2 stores and they are within a relative proximity. I don’t know if they scope each other out, or if it’s just a reflection of the fact of where they are and the price of their rents, and I know that they are in an area that charges a very high Square Foot Rent, but still, it’s rather prohibitive to those of us that want to collect them.
March 25, 2008 at 7:25 am #681684It’s smarter to start at a low price anyway. The seller runs the risk of not getting as much money as he wants, but he’s much more likely to sell at all when the low starting bid encourages people to bid in the hope of snagging a good deal.

March 25, 2008 at 7:13 pm #681686This one wasn’t bad at all. Someone got a great deal I think.

March 25, 2008 at 7:20 pm #681687Didn’t ebay have a white hatching dragon for like over $200 once?? I thought I saw it. I just laughed a bit.
My most wanted list: Peacock kitty wizard, carnelian mouse wizard, copper patina frog wizard, autumn leaf poads, pumpkin spice kitties

which one were you ? I hate the new ebay hiding the bidders ID.
March 25, 2008 at 7:29 pm #681689There’s a model horse on e-bay right now that routinely is e-bayed for like $75 and doesn’t get a single bid that someone listed for over a thousand dollars LOL They inherited a collection and put everything in the thousands and the most expensive one is worth maybe $150 lol. I tried to tell them but apparantly they don’t care. They’re paying wayyyy higher listing/insertion fees and they’ll never sell the item even
