Topic reminds me of something I wrote back in the early 90’s…..that I will now force upon you readers LOL
~~~Volitive Rapture
As I awoke from my dormancy – in a rumbling rage, I tore
Found holed up deep inside of me – ten-thousand years of gore
The madness and betrayals done – That nature’s purities succumbed
I’ll strike back with such venom – and spew them lifeless, leave them numb
As I spit my ashes down – Upon their hatred, cover their frowns
Rattle their earth and shake their ground – I’ll bury their sins and burn their towns
With anger flaming, I spume no regard – For what they’ve ruined, here’s reward

okay well, that’s pretty bleak and there is more but I think it stays somewhat on topic (tho was written more about a volcanic eruption – I was really p.o.’d that day LOL)Yes, I think we have been a bit of a pest to our Earth, flea’s was a good example. It’s never too late to use shampoo, and rinse.

I like this Poems. It’s a good description. Thank you for sharing.I don’t mean to be pessimistic, but I will not be surprised if there are tsunamis and volcanic eruptions to add to the growing list of natural disasters soon.
