Is Earth Hour happening in the States? Here in the Toronto area, it’s lights out from 8 to 9 pm today! I think the goal is to use as little power as possible during that time.

Well where I live most people did not participate 😕 .
I was at mom’s when it started and left to go home to make sure to even turn off the main braker. That is when I notice that most people did not participate. Well I did my share. And I plan to do it every day!

We did it. Was at the party for my Dad and uncles so there were 30 of us plus 11 kids running around in the dark. I got blinded by flashlights several times. 😆

My room mate and I participated, and apparently up north, in my tiny little home town, almost every house was completely dark. Wish I had been there, that would have been awesome to see.

I like the idea. No, it’s not going to solve anything, but at least it’s making more people aware that they can cut back.

On my street, we had a few oblivious people, but a lot of houses were dark.

At one point, a light was turned on and off real quick, then the candlelight came on!

We had Khym at the first Birthday party he went to. So there were lights on there, but not at home. He had fun ….And Cake, Cake with Blue icing, his first piece of cake. Umm and his hands still look like a Smurf. The Birthday girl is probably still far worse. She had a corner piece.
