This fellow’s ear was nearly gone…my sculpting is ok but not perfect…The idea came to me at 2 am…so I painted…

I’m trying to work on my precision with my airbrush so I wanted contrasting colors right next to each other without much blending of the two. However, the gold is blended with red and the green is blended with blue, then there’s interference paint too…

I may keep this one but I plan on trying this color out on future pieces for ebay…A mother in this color scheme will probably be next..

Where the heck do you get your broken Windstones, is what I’d like to know!

I can’t seem to get one off of eBay for a good price to save my life.

I ask stores on a regular basis along with trading paintwork for damaged windstones, this fellow came from tc-cat in trade for my dusk pyo. I find them every now and then on ebay too. Mislabeled or from a seller who has crappy ratings cause you know they’re gonna package crappy. There’s been a couple times it’s backfired and I ended up with rubble….

😆 😆 😆 Thank you everyone!! I’m keeping this one but will do more of this color. It may take awhile though as I’m constantly searching for damaged dragons. I’ve got a really butchered old green on the way…after some resculpting he may end up this color, the orange eyes would go well i think. He was really difficult but it was my first time trying precision airbrushing, I’m actually keeping him so I can remember all the details for the next and because I’m not %100 pleased with the clarity of his colors, I wanted them to be very cleanly defined.
