Hey guys, it’s been awhile. As many of you know I remarried in Oct 2010, I also quit my job at the fish processing plant following that in June of 2012, that was the beginning of a full 13 months of no job which put us in a financial bind and bouts of depression. In May 2013 I landed a job in a call center, and have been very happy with my work environment, we are also raising two kids, 8 year old girl and 13 year old boy. Our attempts at adding to our family with a child between my new husband and myself have met with dismal failure and much sadness.
We did adopt a wonderful and energetic Corgi pup to our family in Jan 2014 her name is Sarai. Also my husband Jon was finally able to get a job, he is originally from Canada and we had to get through all the legal channels before he was qualified to work here in the US, and by the time he was, he had not had employment for 3 years and few employers were willing to give him a chance. He is working at the call center with me for a different client and doing quite well, already having been submitted for advancement by his manager before he had been on the job 3 months. We anticipate great things for him as his opportunities continue to present themselves.
Now that things are beginning to stabilize both financially and emotionally, I find I am wanting to get back to previous hobbies, and that means getting back to you guys. I would love to hear how all of you are doing, and I hear from Laurie that many of our old friends have also made their way back to the forum and I am excited to catch up.
This is going to be a great year, I have missed you all, just my own troubles and challenges were preventing me from participating much. I am hoping that things will continue to improve for all of us and that we can all face and overcome the challenges of the new year.
I am also open for repair commissions again, I find I do not have the option to edit my Repair notice, but it is recommended that if you need to get a hold of me, the best way is with my kyrinrous(at)gmail.com email, the old one kyrin@kyrinslair.com is no more. I will however try to make it a habit to check messages here at least once a week from now on, just in case.
