Dreams, Thoughts, and Wishes – The 2016 June Raffle

[Celestial Rainstorm]

There have been dreams, dancing along
Prancing and flying, singing their songs
With scales and wings, horns and hooves
Colors of all, and this just prooves
What a wonderful thing a Windstone is
Such dreams leave my hair in a frizz.

The dreams consist of creatures who await
A new home, shipped in their lovely cardboard crates.
Who will it be? Well I just can’t say
For the last month’s raffle still seems to be at play
A mysterious creature no one knows
Perhaps this month, as in the sun we doze

A glorious dragon flies into our home
Scales all a shimmer, sat amongst our tomes
Or perhaps a kirin, with scales that shine
And kind-looking eyes – that I wouldn’t mind!
Or maybe a Poad, with their adorable butts
(It was only recently I learned that females have guts)

Whatever it may be, scale or fur
Wings or horns, I’m here to thank HER.
For the generous heart of their mother named Melody
Paints and gives dragons, kirins, and felidae
To those who are lucky and true
To win this month’s raffle – will it be you?

So here is the poem for June! I know its like, incredibly early, but I wanted to make sure to get it down. I know its overly long, and nowhere near as good as these past raffle poems, but I think it’ll do. I do wonder who’s going to come up for this month! Again, thanks to the amazing Melody, who has such a big and generous heart.

And its embarrassingly true I only just learned that its female Poads who do all the heavy lifting – males are just kinda there. XD

I am so in love with the Patina. I usually don’t go for it, but the amount of violet on it is just gorgeous. Fingers crossed! What a birthday present that would be!

Those hatchers are so cute! I can’t say which I would pick though which is saying something cause I love copper everything but the little camo guy is so neat and unique. Very boyish. My son would steal him from me for sure though. 🙂
