Do you ever have dreams about your sculptures, or about the factory?
I had a dream last night that I passed by the Windstone factory in California, and it was very colorful. Almost like a Willy Wonka factory!

I don’t dream about the factory, but I dream about art constantly. I have a recurring dream about going through a ceramics class or art class and seeing just tons of colorful, wonderful art pieces.. thinking “gad everybody else can do that! But I could never come up with stuff like that!”… and then realising, “hey! This is a dream! I did do all that art!! I created it in my head!”.That is the better part of very troublesome school nightmares I have almost nightly. It is driving me nuts. Post traumatic stress syndrome from public school, I think.
Windstone is an overstuffed factory, machine shop, and warehouse, attached to some very cluttered offices. Anyone who has visited knows why we have so much trouble finding things! We don’t have a pretty showroom or anything cool like that. I hope to set up some kind of a gallery/showroom in the new building, so visitors have something to look at!
Windstone is neat in it’s own messy way, the way any place with people that make stuff is… but it’s no Willy Wonka palace! Lots of cardboard boxes on pallets.
You can hire me and I will organise the whole place so that you can find stuff and can have a gallery.. how about it?? lol 😆
I can identify with the school nightmares….mine are usually about not being prepared for tests or something like that. I wonder why we have those? 😕
Anytime I have a school dream… it’s about me either forgetting my homework, or not remembering the combination to my locker!

Yes ! Exactly! I wish they would stop!!
I have those nightmares a lot too. Can’t remember a locker combo, or I forgot my bookbag, stupid stuff, and it’s hugely stressful.

Oh, he is sitting right here.(one of them , anyway, there are two versions, and I don’t know where the smaller one is.) He is not high on the to-do list though. Because it is an “egg”, I’d need to plead hard to get him cast. We’ve got a “No more eggs” policy. Big eggs are nearly impossible to cast without deforming.

I just had a bad dream last night that I was still catching up on my school assignments and such from all the time I missed from things like my surgery back in 2006. The idea that you may not pass the current school year due to discovering more and more assignments that I’ve missed during my break is something that still chills me to the bones.
Don’t get serious illnesses, either mental or physical, folks.
