How ya doin? How’s your health? Thanks again for giving me that dress for my wedding. It was very nice of you and it worked out perfect.
July 1, 2008 at 10:35 pm #496022July 4, 2008 at 7:13 pm #719322Hi Ski!!! I missed this thread!!
You’re welcome again!! You looked the perfect bride, I’m glad I could help! I’m doing pretty good, except for the last couple weeks with EMT class and all, I feel like I have no time for anything, and I miss alot of stuff on the forum, which makes me sad. Even though I had to drop the class, I still go and observe, and help with the labs, i’m usually the patient! I’ve actually felt really great, especially now that the morning sickness is gone, it’s funny, being pregnant actually makes my other medical problems almost disapear!! How are you? how’s Hawaii?July 5, 2008 at 1:58 am #719323Girl, Hawaii is lovely!! I recommend it to everyone… though sometimes it feels like a love/hate relationship. I wanted to ask how the pregnancy was going, but didnt want to pry. 😆 Im glad the morning sickness is over. I always felt like I had heartburn. 😆 Are you excited? Making plans for the little one yet?
July 5, 2008 at 2:50 am #719324Actually, I’m really excited! I’m starting to get really big though, but am still not gaining any weight which is bizarre. We’re looking at nursery themes now, and trying to find a crib we both like…we’re probably going to go with an animal/jungle theme, that seems to be what I’m driven towards. I’ve been having horrible nitemares though..did that ever happen to you?
July 5, 2008 at 5:13 am #719325No, no nightmares. I was normal till after he was born… then I suffered that depression for about 6 months. Hopefully I can skip that part with my next child. 😆
I recommend the crip that converts to a toddler bed. That thing was so neat. Plus it had the side rail that raised and lowered. I liked that… and the mattress could be lowered, too. It was very handy.
I remember craving cheese the whole time I was pregnant. You craving anything weird?
July 7, 2008 at 1:30 am #719326Those are the cribs we’ve been looking at, they’re so cool! Actually, the only thing I’ve really craved is tomatoes, lots and lots of tomatoes, and crunchy garlic deli pickles. That has been since the beginning, but then there was the tomato scare, so I had to switch from my beloved crunchy roma tomatoes to the squishier vine ripe ones, just not the same. This week though, it’s buttercream icing…but I haven’t had any yet…the stores here usually have these tiny cakes but they haven’t had any and there’s no way I can justify buying a big birthday cake just cause the baby wants frosting!! The only thing I really really can;t eat is chicken, it just grosses me out, and I kinda liked it before, but now…no way. Protein of any kind is not really apealling to me, I’ve been on a veggie/fruit kick. Weird. So your gonna try for another child? that’s great news!! When is hubby done with what was it, flight instruction?
July 7, 2008 at 6:05 am #719327What? Ski’s wedding dress came from DragonMistress?
Good taste, both of you.July 7, 2008 at 2:14 pm #719328If your looking for a crib I got this one from target http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=sc_pgc_r_3_0_3145001/602-5176659-9575069?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B0001UD18W
we wanted a crib that turns into a toddler bed but most of the cribs I looked at in our price range seemed very unsturdy. I love this crib its pretty, inexpensive, and sturdy. If your going for a jungle theme (thats what I did) I like this http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2802733. Its gender neutral (since I didn’t want a big pink room sorry Ski ). The blanket has different textures to it which I thought would be nice for Alyssa to feel and explore. I pretty much did the whole room in neutral colors and we added some jungle wall stickers.July 7, 2008 at 5:15 pm #719329We looked at that one! Our current favorite is this one http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2917290 it has all the textures and its soft and cute. Pretty crib! I like the natural colored ones, we found a couple at Baby Depot that are nice, but I’m looking for one with a drawer at the bottom, I’m so picky!
July 7, 2008 at 8:45 pm #719330I like that set, we have the wall stickers that go with it (since the set we have didn’t have wall stickers). I was so picky when we went crib shopping. It took me forever to finally stick with just one. So far I’m happy with it.

Good taste, both of you.Thank you! Yup, she overnighted it to me right before the wedding. All I did was add that lilac ribbon to blend with my wedding colors and ‘Viola! 🙂
