My windstone dealer said somebody knocked over a table and broke about 20 windstones! Eek! However, they said they’d sell them to me for cheap. Still waiting on the specific pieces and prices but I’m so excited to try a little repair work. Hoping they’ll sell me the whole batch for a good price. Excited to do repaints!! I can never bear the thought of painting over a perfectly fine windstone but I have no problem with doing it to broken ones. Suggestions on my dragon hospital?
If you repaint these, it would be wonderful if you would sign the bottoms and write “repainted by” on them. That will help us keep track of these, and fifty years from now it will help the antique dealers figure out what all these purple Windstones are !
I did that with the male dragon I repainted. Labeled and dated. Though my evil plan is, if my friend ever doesn’t want him anymore, he is to return him to me, and if he dies first, I’ve asked him to put it in his will that he is to go to me. 🙂
