well I don’t know what to do with this now-

I can try to paint over some areas and again apply the patina– or I can leave as is– but it is not the color gold I would pick to paint a whole dragon in– you’re really one supposed to see a little of the gold and copper under the greenish grey patina… geeze- what do you guys think? Is it worth the extra effort or is it listable?
One negative is when applying the patina it really faded out all the different shading– which I don’t think I can easily get back— I don’t know what to do!

I think I am going to try the patina in selected areas– it really was the point of the piece– I guess I’ll see what happens! Still any ideas/he;p would be great!

I think that is sooooo cute, mipa! What a neat idea.

I think it looks fine. But since you put the gloss over it and then trying to put the patina on…it might be easier to get off if you don’t like it. I really like the flowers/vines on it.

I’ve seen people bid on less attractive dragons.
          It’s a cute idea.
Do another, maybe in a different color.

Sorry, didn’t mean to make it sound like that.
I think he is cute and you will at least get your money back for the sculpture!

I think you’d get a lot more than that – those morning glories are AWESOME! Sorry about the patina, though! ;_; I have had similar experiences. Honestly, though, if you can’t slap the patina back on, he looks adorable just the way he is.
