The first one is stunning, and I like the second one a lot! Pretty!
February 11, 2008 at 4:48 pm #659145I love the blending on the back of the wings on the Diablo keeper! Very nice π
The other is very springy. Can’t wait to see it done!
February 11, 2008 at 5:45 pm #659146I love the blending and colors on the Diablo, but I’m not too crazy about the black scales, esp. the ones running from his ear to his chest. Don’t hit me, drag0n…they are perfectly done, but too contrasting for me. π
February 12, 2008 at 1:53 am #659147Don’t worry π I wouldn’t do that! LOL! Criticism is a good thing! I really like contrasts like that though, but I can see what you mean. It does certainly stand out a lot on the chest. What do you think would look better? Another color maybe or should I just leave them with the colors on them after I blended the paint? I thought it looked too plain when I did that, or more so like I was getting lazy by not accenting the scales, hahaha!

February 12, 2008 at 2:29 am #659149Both Keepers are beautiful!!!! I think I’d like Diablo a tiny bit better without the black ear to chest scales, but he’s fantastic either way!!! π
February 12, 2008 at 2:48 am #659150The blending work on both of the keepers is very impressive. I didn’t realize you didn’t use an air brush until after I reread your initial posts. Very nicely done!
February 12, 2008 at 2:55 am #659151Nope, no airbrushing at all. I have a cheapy one and to this day I cant seem to ever work the darn thing! I have a terrible air compressor and am just so set in my ways I never tried getting a new one, LOL. I just primed a piece once and ended up destroying it cause the paint was so think the detail got all covered up and it looked like it had 10 layers of paint on it in some places but no paint at all in other places π

February 12, 2008 at 9:46 pm #659155I am liking the second one best. I like the diablo, but the black parts are not for me. Great blending, though… esp the detailing on the wings.
February 14, 2008 at 7:07 am #659156WOW! I LOVE the Diablo one! I LOVE the black on all the scales, I wouldnt change a thing hun, but thats me…BLACK NUT π π 99% of my clothes are black, but then again its a slimming color π― π . I really like the second one too…cant wait to see it done…BUT I am more for the BOLD BRIGHT colors like Diablo!
DragOn…I WANT ONE! Seriously! **snicker** π π
February 20, 2008 at 7:33 am #659157OOOO I love them both! Your Diablo Keeper is AMAZING! Personally I’m not too fond of the horns and claws-I think they should be black…but the rest of him-Nam’s right, he looks like candy! π
Your ‘Easter Egg’ Keeper is very lovely too! He needs more purple!! π

LOL! It’s funny you say that! I added a bunch more purple and he looks much better =)
as for the keeper, I have to take some photographs outside. His claws and horns look white in the pictures, but they are like a medium brown with drybrushed ivory on them. Still, black would look good too though.
