uhg i forgot to renew my license on monday and now its expired :p . I gave the DVM some bull story about how i mailed in the paper work ( i didnt) to renew it so maybe i could get an extention , with a little of the old charm factor …. well that failed . The persn on the other line was using a dilect i dont understand very well so i had to listen it was somthing in the middle of Lazy English and Mumbling ..i hate that worse than getting connected to Aubu Dabi for Dell Computer Support .
Well i have to sneak down there early tomorrow morning and hope i dont get stoped by the cops . If i do there will be a 100 dollar fine plus what ever the cop wants to add on depending if he’s one of those high and mighty cops , or some one who has had a bad night . Since i dont have a cloaking device yet i’ll have to be careful , if i get stopped i may just pull the ” oh my god im having chest pain” and fall from my truck exposing my scars, maybe that will get me out of a ticket 😛

I always go as soon as I get my papers, since I do have a tendency to forget everything, that way I know it’s done. By putting it off we oftime forget to pay it.
My boyfriend is late all the time and I think it was last year he was late of almost two months. I didn’t dare ask him how much they charged him. He’s the type that gets his mail either doesn’t open it or opens it then throws it in the pile with the rest of his unpaid bills. Then he forgets about them. 🙄
I got tired of reminding him, he’s old enough to take care of himself. 😛I hope you get it renewed without a hitch. I wouldn’t try the falling and exposing your scars angle; these are cops. They’ve seen everything. And DMV workers are immune to charm. I think it happens when they accept the job. 😉
I do mine online or by mail. Even if it’s late. I hate lines 👿 Maybe you should just go in your Short Bus? 😆

I’ve never had a license long enough to expire, so I’m no help there… And no I didn’t lose all of them. Just one or two. In my apartment. 🙄 😳
ah man….I’m so absentminded I drove around for nearly 6 months last time before getting it renewed…I felt like an idiot. One day I was just poking through my wallet and noticed the date on my liscence and went, “Oh CRAP!” They were actually pretty nice about it at the DMV….I dont drive a whole lot anyway…but still…I was so embarrassed. 😳
I did that with my registration once. I went to DMV and told them I couldn’t find a copy of my new registration. She told me that’s because you never renewed it! 😳 😆 She just took my money and gave me the new card, even though I was 6 months late.
I just got my new one in the mail today… you can do it by mail or online here… but as long as you haven’t had tickets or anything like that…
I have a friend that had a couple tickets… and he can’t even renew it…
and they have a new points system here… that if you’ve had certain tickets… then you have a certain amount to pay when you renew your license even if you’ve already dealt with the ticket…
it’s kinda crazy… but then again… the one that started it… is now in the White House… and we know all the crazy stuff he’s done there… 😯
You can do it online in FL. Awhile back I needed my drivers license no. for some doctors information thing and I went to get it out of and found out I didn’t have it. I drove home and immediately went online for an address of the DMV and found out I could get a new one online so I did and it only took about 2 weeks. I still have no idea where the other one went or how long ago but I did report it missing. That shakes you up

I usually lose my license in the house :roll:. I’m just glad I noticed when my credit card (and my Safeway card, but I don’t mind if someone uses that one) fell out of my wallet. 😯 I was at the bank so that could have turned out really bad!
