Yeah I never said it was (I have no idea). Even if it isn’t the same dog and you have to give up any of your dogs why not just give that one back to the rescue organization? Since they have a history with the dog it should be easier for them to find him/her a new home.

[/img]Appropriate pic. Seriously. How can someone go from bragging about how they just want to give the dog a good home and are so attached to it blah blah blah and a month later post it for adoption on a fantasy forum? I think that adoption lady had the right idea. I tell you, Tatt… you are on a roll. Perhaps I am being mean, but I am for people accepting responsibility for their actions: Keeping a pet they “rescue”, updating their own paypal account instead of expecting buyers to take a risk and send payment to an alternate account with no buyer protection, and perhaps not expecting a seller to pay for damages when the buyer tosses out the packing materials on an insured item. Everything with you seems to be someone elses fault, hu?
Edited to add: And your adoption fee of $150 on the bulldog… does that mean you had her spayed? cuz you never mentioned it. After the comment about selling dogs instead of adopting them out, I am just curious.
Skigod, necron do you know the whole story? Or are you basing this off of past things that tatt has done. Everyone makes mistakes, maybe you should ask why she was giving away the dogs before you bash her on a public forum.
Maybe she moved to a place where she legally could not own as many dogs and had to give up two to avoid charges? Or maybe she can’t afford them anymore?
Just saying you should know the whole story, not base it on prejudices.
….. I really hope this didn’t just make me two enemies here, though I have the feeling I just did, but I had to say it anyway, I don’t like seeing people get bashed for what I see as no real reason.

That is true, though the time frame matches exactly and she mentions in that thread that she has two dogs, now is selling two in this thread. She mantions the kill shelter rescue and another rescue, which, since no other dogs are mentioned, I can only assume is Greta. Either way, “rescuing” a dog, only to rehome it later, is not rescuing it. And after all that hubbub about that lady (who for all we know… two sides to every story…is a decent lady) wanting her dog back and how Tatt was so attached to it and fighting to keep it… even willing to go to court over it, only to dump it a month later??? That was a ramble sentence, I know…. There are some people who should not have pets. Esp not more than one or two if they cant afford to take care of them or keep them whenever they move. Who stays in one place their whole lives?? This is just a sore spot for me, since people in the Army dump their dogs all the time.. like they dont know they will be moving in a few years 🙄 Sorry.

I doubt it, but its possible. And if I do, then I will. I await an explanation, should she choose to give it… though I never did get one on our last discussion…
May 21, 2008 at 3:07 am #705121Yay people don’t hate me for speaking out I like this forum.
I just like to reserve judgment for explanation. Unless of course, I’m the one involved 🙄 then I’m evil 😈
May 21, 2008 at 4:22 am #705122I hope you find them both a good and loving home.
May 21, 2008 at 5:02 am #705123Things are getting confusing around here. I understand everyone’s frustrations. I hope it works out.
May 21, 2008 at 5:08 am #705124Personally IMO if you are so desperate for them to find homes you should give them BOTH to breed specific rescues. By asking for an “adoption fee: it looks like you are trying to make a quick buck, and coupled with the whole BS over the cat wizard, which I fully believe you are only upset it didnt go over the 250 mark, it looks even more like you are trying to sell your dogs for a quick buck.
Talk about a run on sentence, LOL.
May 21, 2008 at 5:09 am #705125Im sorry guys. I didnt mean to make anyone uncomfortable. I may have been to harsh and if anyone feels that way, I am sorry. Its just my pet peeve, and after all the drama about the adoption lady, I just thought this was ridiculous. Sorry again. I didnt mean to get carried away.

I would have to humbly agree with that, because when I read the post, it was the first thing I thought of.

I think you’re just fine! I agree with a lot of what is said here, including what you say, but I don’t like to get in debates or arguments, so I usually shy away, and I will sometimes pipe up with happy things to try to make people feel better! Ok, I will slowly step back, and wait for tatt2dcowgrl’s response…I am very curious myself.
May 21, 2008 at 5:31 am #705128*shutting up and waiting patiently for what tatt has to say*
May 21, 2008 at 12:07 pm #705129I’ll just wait and see what response tatt has…although fighting to keep one animal..when you have too many, and are on the verge of having to find homes for others…seems very irresponsible. Always make sure before taking an animal into your home, that it can have a permanent home with you. Although I know unexpected stuff happens, to everyone…these two situations are uncomfortably close together for it to look like a responsibly handled situation.
May 21, 2008 at 1:18 pm #705130I am a total cat freak! If I suddenly developed allergies to them…ALL 5 OF MY CATS (3 came from shelters) I would NEVER think of selling or re-homing them (that is what they make meds for). I would live on the street first if it came to moving without meh kitties 😛 (I’d just store my Windstones in a family member’s house). Just my 2 cents…But, then again, I love them, my congo bichir, my goldfish, and my new garter snake too much to part with any of them. 😀
But, on a funny note…My son is for rent. (He needs money to pay for the 3 windows he shot out with his father’s bb gun. 😆 Good Lord, I hope everyone knows I am joking about the renting thing! 😯 But, he did really shoot out the windows. 😕 )
May 21, 2008 at 1:35 pm #705131I just wanted to say that you guys are a really, really good group. Most mature* group I’ve dealt with online!
* By mature I mean where it really counts, since we all like the booger and fart jokes…
