Cute stories. One thing I thought of is…Isn’t a squirrel born with Rabies or other diseases? What were to happen if the Squirrel were to bite the dog?

Squirrels don’t seem to be a major concern with rabies. I found this on the internet:

Any mammal can become infected with rabies, and squirrels are no exception; however, squirrels have not been known to cause rabies in humans in the U.S. Squirrels, like most other small rodents, rarely get rabies.
