If so, I have your box. Does anyone have the box for emerald wind wizard 240? If so, gimme! 😆 I know its a long shot, but who knows!

well, I need box 240. I figured I would at least check, since I won the wizard on Ebay and we all ebay. Maybe someone bought the peacock from the same seller and got my box. ❓ I checked their prev auctions and didnt see a wizard, but it could be someone who didnt leave feedback.
Can you beleive the audacity?? I wrote the seller mentioning that they gave me the wrong box and that it should have been mentioned in the auction and this is what they replied with: “Never would the number on the box be a determining factor in the value of a piece.” Im a COLLECTOR!!! I determine what factors add value to a peice im bidding on!!! Geeez… sorry. Im steamed. I dont know how they can sell me a peacock box #333 w/an emerald wizard #240 and think it does not affect the value?!!
That was rude of them. Did you tell them that it does to you? I’d make sure they understood that, but that’s just me.

Yes, I did. I just wanted to ask them that if it didnt matter, why was there a number On the box? I dont know if you have seen it, but there is a 3×4 peice of paper w/a description of what is inside. Oh well. I did get it cheap, and I can always pull that paper, and the little sticker, off the box. I just should have known about it. I would have waited for one with the correct box. 😕 Dang Im picky! 😆
Dang this guy is RUDE! This was his/her reply. “That is the box It came in back in 199X, when I recieved it as a present. The store sold it that way. A piece of cardboard does not determine value as you can see many others are selling without original packaging for the same price as the ones with. I do not know who has the correct box. And to tell you the truth I never noticed the different numbers. Therefore, as others are selling for OVER $200 I would think you would be happy to get a great deal, unless of couse you don’t really collect and just want to make a big, greedy profit.” I will just avoid the seller in the future.

To me the number wouldn’t matter at all, but I can see how it does to Ski. If it matters, it matters! A simple “I’m sorry, but I don’t have the box” would have sufficed, why does this guy need to be all preachy?
Hahaha! Nirvana I adore you! Its ok, guys. I just left him a neutral feedback for the misleading auction and for being totally nasty after. A simple apology would have sufficed. I was not mean in my message at all, so her responses were a total shock. Bitterroottraders is her name. Unicornita has purchased from them before. Im sure this is just an isolated incident. The rest of their feedback was good. What is important to be may not even be a factor to them, so maybe they didnt even think the box was a big deal. The rudeness was uncalled for, though.
I actually liked Nirvana’s response better. Yeah seems like a dill hole to me too… Gonna have to remember, that whatever they have…I don’t want. 😆
I suppose if it wasn’t a signed and numbered edition, I wouldn’t really care aobut the box, but since it is…I’d have to say I would want the correct box. Oh, and the store they bought it from, should have known better…but to me it sounds like a crappy excuse for their own mix-up. 👿
