Do you think this is a repaint?

Ooh, I bet he’d be neat to see in person with all the excess champagne color. He looks fine to me… color placement, blending… just really bad lighting. My peacock OW picture has bad lighting too (but better than that!), and it makes the colors a bit wonky (electric jade and pink instead of dusty violet?)… though he’s 7000 miles away so it’s all I can go on. 🙄

To me he looked like someone had just added alot of green to a normal peacock dragon, till I saw the toned down pics. He looks normal to me. 🙂

Yeah, I’m sure it’s just dust. But, I haven’t ever seen that golden colour on the chest before. But, who knows, maybe the painter got creative. I’m sure it has happened before. (That’s the part I thought was repainted, I didn’t think anything else was.) 😉

I thought it looked off by the gallery photo so I went in to see it larger. I think the first photo, in addition to shift yellow, might have been taken without a flash, and the next photo used a flash. In natural dark light without flash, photos tend to antique and yellow shift.
