Hehehe pretty much! You take two peeps, stick toothpicks in them like they’re going to joust and face them on a plate. Then you stick them in the microwave for about 20 seconds and let the fun begin! *don’t let them go too long or they’ll catch fire… π― * Not like I’d know this at all…. π
April 9, 2007 at 5:21 pm #560248That answers my question…
April 9, 2007 at 5:22 pm #560249Oh, man, now I’ve got to try it. My husbands gonna think I’m nuts (like he doesn’t already π ).

I wasn’t thinking of the Microwave… π―

Now, I’ll have to stop at Big Lots or Wallyworld for a pack of peeps. πGet a couple different colors so you can tell which one won!
Note *if you stop them in time, you can still eat the peeps, it kind of caramelizes the sugar turning into a hard taffy!*

You know, I really shouldn’t go here, but…well…I just have to. How did you ever learn to do this and is it really that entertaining?! (You really need to get out more. j/k π ) π π
April 9, 2007 at 7:50 pm #560253I’ve heard good money can be made on Peep jousts.
And I wonder when BiPolarBear will see this… it’s kind of a family tradition for us to have a Peep joust at the Easter party. Or the Christmas party, except they were kind of stale–and frozen–when we did that. It was interesting! For some reason the inside went all black. Looked like guts.
By the way, put a CD in the microwave sometime. It’s AWESOME.
April 9, 2007 at 8:04 pm #560254i know marshmellow peeps expand in the micro, so how close to you have to put them together in order for one to be albe to pearse the other?

It is totaly entertaining! Best to do at large parties where people are either stoned or have been drinking a lot ROFL but it’s fun to do when sober as well π it’s almost like a family tradition in our house….. π

WARNING! If you try the CD thing, ONLY DO IT FOR 2 SECONDS AT A TIME!!! It should take a total of 4 seconds, but if you do it for longer than 2 seconds at a time you will fry your microwave…..*once again, not that I know this from personal experience….*coughmilitarycough**
