Holy CRAP! I just finished filling in the costs of my pieces on my spreadsheet (what I’ve actually paid for most, and retail for those I don’t have receipts for)… I’ve got over $8K in Windstones. And I don’t even want to talk about how much money’s gone towards PYOs ….

Yeah… yeah, insurance sounds pretty good.

I figured mine on current market value to replace (because some are 20 years old) and I have about 16.5 K. It adds up fast when you do a spreadsheet. I was shocked too. My husband might have a stroke is he sees it 🙂

The Windstones are covered under our personal property clause in our house insurance. We have pictures of all of them and our sword collection and both in spreadsheets in a fireproof safe and in a safety deposit box.

I wouldn’t worry quite so much if we lived in our own home. But we live in a condo series of townhouses so if a fire breaks out in one condo, it’ll spread.

Yeah, I won’t be showing my husband my spreadsheet. He probably wouldn’t have a stroke, but he would hold it against me any time I said he couldn’t buy something (nevermind that he bought about half of them, & normally I only buy when we have money).
