I couldn’t figure out a better sounding title for what I’m asking, but I was wondering if anyone else has any other sort of stimulation while they are painting/sewing/crafting, etc.
As for myself, I either listen to music or “watch” TV. By this I mean that I sit at my computer desk (where I do the majority of my PYO’s in particular) and log onto Netflix to watch whatever series of TV show I’m currently on. Recently I’ve been watching The Office. It’s not so much actually watching it as it is listening to it and looking up once in a while 😆
Just curious to see if anyone else multitasks like this 🙂

I always have something whether it’s music or the radio or just the TV in the background. I grew up in a very full house so when things are quiet I can’t concentrate 😈
I put my babies to bed, kick my husband to the living room with his PS3, pick a big stack of dvds (usually scary or funny) and seal myself in our bedroom 😈

Or I sit in my room with my ipod and listen to music
I’m usually at the drafting table in our office with iTunes going. Can’t work with the tv, it’s too distracting, especially when I’m working on jewellry. Need to be able to concentrate when I’m wire wrapping. 😀
I curl up on the couch and watch stand up mostly 🙂
Also, if I’m not in the mood, I like to revolve my painting around People’s Court, Judge Judy, 2 1/2 Men, and the Office 😳 There’s like a 4 hour block with all four shows and I’ll just paint the WHOLE time.
I would LIKE to listen to music, but that would mean using earbuds since we don’t have a sterio… yea… you can’t hear the “mischief” going on in the house with 3 baby kitties when I do that. They’re new thing is jumping on the refrigerator and knocking all the magnets off if the freezer door. 🙄

Radio – baseball is my favorite but I will listen to almost any sporting event (the Redskins/Dallas game is on as I type). And I’m probably humming. Both my sister and I hum without being aware of it. 😳

That pretty much sounds like me except I tend to watch cop dramas off my pvr while doing crafts at my computer desk. I tend to find the silence eerie.
