Displaying Secret Keeper

I’ve just received my first Secret Keeper and I am in love!
Is anyone displaying theirs on a glass shelf?? I’ve Googled how to determine how much a shelf can hold but I am very nervous about putting his 40lbs on a glass shelf with all my other Windstone’s. The thought of any of them getting broken has me here looking for some reassurance. He has a reserved spot…..do I risk it?

I’d go with a wooden shelf… you can switch everyone around and make room on that bottom shelf.

I hate to put him on the bottom as he faces slightly downward …. I think we’re going to look into ways to reinforce the glass on his shelf.

Sometimes people put the Secret Keeper next to the display cabinet, on the floor or on a stool or on a chair or something. If you must put the big dragon on a glass shelf in your cabinet I would suggest putting him on the lowest glass shelf. That would limit the damage on pieces below if the shelf breaks.

I got a lovely little antique side table for mine- we call it the Queen’s Throne. Put a spot lamp over it and she looked great. Really the only problem is it doesn’t protect her from the environment. no way would I trust her to any glass shelf; I’ve heard too many horror stories with just the ‘regular’ Windstones.

I would definitely put it on the bottom shelf or a pedestal next to the cabinet. If you do try to reinforce the shelf, make sure the supports are reinforced too.

if you can rearrange the glass shelves and move them up, you could put her on the bottom (wood) shelf, but I definitely would not put her on any glass shelf. Otherwise, you could find a solid podium online and put that next to your curio.
