Yesterday My hubby and I discovered someone in our area got ahold of our debit/credit card number…and has been useing it sense November ( im embarassed it took three months to discover 😳 😳 ) I just cant believe someone could be that dishonest and ballsy 😡 😡 😡 👿 I feel just sick…. this person stole from my family, my kids…. and darnit my windstone fund!
Im sooo angry… who does this person think they are? I try to go out of my way daily to help out my fellow man and woman! I pay it foward EVERY time the opportunity persents its self! Why do crapy things happen to good people? 🙄 🙄
I guess if I have to find a silver linning in all this mess…. I will be extra careful about my account in the future…staying on top of everything….bitten once twice shy as the saying goes!
Sorry for the venting! I just needed an outlet to work out the anger im feeling right now.January 12, 2010 at 5:08 pm #500035AnonymousJanuary 12, 2010 at 6:12 pm #801862Arg, that sucks! Is there any way of charging this person and maybe getting a bit back? o.o
January 12, 2010 at 6:12 pm #801863That’s awful 🙁 . I’m sorry to hear that happened to you. Good thing you discovered the card was being used illicitly.
January 12, 2010 at 6:24 pm #801864That sucks 🙁 Your bank doesn’t do fraudulent charge returns? I believe my bank offers that but I haven’t had to use it yet so I don’t know anything about it. So sorry to hear about that though…people can be really awful sometimes
January 12, 2010 at 7:13 pm #801865Erg. That happened to me back in November, so I can feel your frustration. Have you submitted a police report? Put a fraud alert on your credit report? Good luck resolving this issue.
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
January 12, 2010 at 7:15 pm #801866oh no… that is scary stuff.

January 12, 2010 at 10:32 pm #801870Oh no, that’s horrible! 🙁 I hope everything gets worked out for you soon!
January 12, 2010 at 11:15 pm #801871If you can prove who did it and call the authorities they can put charges on them. My ex had to do that but then again this is in Canada. I don’t know how it works where you are. Good luck! 🙂

Wonder how they got a hold on the info then o.oMy boyfriend just had to call Visa today and dispute some charges he had on his credit card. Turned out a place he had bought a few swords from had taken his info and was using his card!

If you order something from a company online with a credit card… you give them your email address! That’s how they got it.

My art: featherdust.comJanuary 13, 2010 at 1:04 am #801874We just had that happen recently, only because they bought “time” on the internet, we couldn’t “prove” it wasn’t us, so after almost a year of arguing with CC company, despite having fraud protection, they stil said we were liable for the money…so much for innocent until proven guilty…guess it doens’t work that way with CCs. 🙁
