Different Flap Cat?

This cat has sold, but it looks different to me than the current flap cat sculpt:

Was there maybe originally a different version of the sculpt? Or is it just the current one and the pictures make it look different?

The pad looks strange to me, too. Maybe it’s a replacement of the original pad?

I think it is legit and the sculpt has not changed – just an odd angle and maybe the lighting. Since that color was introduced 10 years ago the pad could be different from the pads used today.

This is the Flip Flap Cat which faces to the right, while the Flap Cat faces to the left. The Flip Flap is not a mirror image of the first one, so they look a bit different.
