🙂
Just wondering if you enjoyed painting these little guys as much as I’m enjoying staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaring at all their little details! There is so much going on that I can’t help but think of the process. Did you have a lot of fun doing these colors or do you enjoy painting the more ‘normal’ colors more?

This whole “grab bag” thing is a hoot.
I just love the way Chessie conducts the livestreams, and I love the names she gives the Young unicorns.
We all have a lot of fun,(except maybe Susie, who has to wrangle all the orders and shipping! She needs cookies)
The mad feeding frenzy that threatens to crash the website is a problem we need to fix somehow, but even that is interesting. It is cool to see 98 people on at once!
This time, we are filling every order that we got, even though the store sold many more unicorns that we had! So I am still painting these guys.January 30, 2012 at 7:35 pm #871791This time, we are filling every order that we got, even though the store sold many more unicorns that we had! Wow…you know that you guys are just about the coolest people in the world? Making Windstone THE coolest company in the world. (I am totally not blowing smoke up your bum on that; I truly mean it!)

I agree. Not many companies would fill orders that were above and beyond what was in stock. Thank you to all the wonderful people who make Windstone the incredible company it is. 🙂

AGREED! What other company in the world would bend over backwards for it’s collectors?! None…when something sells out its gone…then they look at the time date stamp and contact them with an I’m sorry but… You are a very kind and amazing woman Melody…you truly are…and your staff is the most supportive, caring group of people that I have ever seen in a business!
January 30, 2012 at 8:10 pm #871798What’s already been said! Agreed! 🙂 Windstone really is awesome to its customers! I’m really glad to hear you aren’t sick of these with all the chaos that ensues when they hit the store, not because of the potential for more, but becaes no one would want to see an unhappy Melody! 🙂 (poor Susie with all the orders though!)

can’t quite picture that, I can with a blue or purple body but not green…but that’s just what I see as better…hehe…
4 things I'm looking for:
1. Mother Meerkat
2. production color Sitting Young Oriental dragons to be made in more colors besides VF, Brimstone would be awesome!
3. Female Griffin – Siamese with White
4. September Raffle Prize 2022 AHD Male GriffinJanuary 31, 2012 at 2:07 pm #871930Windstone truly is one of the best companies to its collectors! You all rock!

January 31, 2012 at 2:27 pm #871931I hope you continue to like painting them, because I couldnt even begin to predict when the mania will ever die down.
Thank you Melody for putting up with us and our ridiculous squeaks.
January 31, 2012 at 3:40 pm #871934I 100% agree with best company ever! – This kind of customer service is outright unheard of!
Windstone has WONDERFUL quality products! The most talented artists (All of you guys!), customer service that can’t be touched, I’m always amazed at how well Melody is with her fan base! Most people would have gotten an ego the size of Texas by now and wouldn’t be bothered with us! ‘n the fact that you guys listen to the squeaks and ideas, and the raffles and quests… This place in a whole feels like a big ol family, nothing like a company!
I can honestly say that I went from someone who would have collected a couple dragons here and there when I could afford one… to a month or so on this community, I’m now wanting to know all I can about these, and actually become a true collector! I want to support this company and community the best I can! and that wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for the closeness of this company and community!February 1, 2012 at 4:44 pm #872048Windstone truly is one of the best companies to its collectors! You all rock!
Yes! And it means one can plunk down several hundred dollars to buy an ebay piece and feel virtuous, because you are helping the company! Or at least, that’s what I tell myself. 😉
February 1, 2012 at 11:28 pm #872095I hope you had fun painting them and want to do another batch! I must get one of these guys!

I for one would trade every “normal” Baby I have for “fantasy” Babies. I love the bright colors and fancy patterns. You have a wonderful imagination, Melody; and I hope you do many more GB Fantasy Babies.
February 4, 2012 at 11:17 pm #872528They are so pretty . I’d love to see fantasy colors in larger pieces or even small ones other then unicorns . Probably they be to hard to do . Melody does so much .
