Did you change the gold color?

How odd! They are painted with the same gold, but It looks to me as if the warrior had the gold painted over black, instead of over brown like they are supposed to be. The undercoat affects the overlying color. I’ll ask Olimpia if she knows, when I get a chance.

I’d say from the pictures, I like the gold better over the black base. 😉

Me, too. I like them both, but when they are compared, the OW color just blends better.

I think your male has better coloring. I saw Cheryl’s family of gold dragons in person, and they are a nice, warm color. The male I have is very brassy with almost an awkward shading on him. But-I did get him at Christmas last year, so I imagine the color was still being experimented with.
