And although i’m one of the weirdos who prefers emerald to jade (at least on Orientals, I’d like to see a comparison pic with Westerns), double congrats in that he does look like a jade! Even if you don’t like it/him, you would make a very healthy profit selling or trading him.

It’s just confusing because on the Orientals, the emerald coloring is called “jade.”

I dunno, it seems to me that of the orientals, I’ve seen about as many emeralds as jades. The original orientals, that is. I’ve never seen a jade baby or sun dragon. I’m not sure they exist.

Yeah… for a while there were quite a few jade scratchers, too. Have not seen one lately, but I am figuring that while the jade is less common, they still pop up pretty often.
