Did anyone's Second-batch Amethyst Curlie have extra orange?

I just opened my curlie from second batch and he has a lot of the copper orange on his back wing and top of head and the other stripes. I will definitely entertain a straight-up trade, if somebody is interested in doing so. squeek*

Mine looks like this too. It was from the first batch.

Mine is also from the first batch, and matches this description. Though I’d swear the ‘orange’ color is more pale burgundy. The color is on wing edges and eye ridges/nose and nowhere else.

I got mine today and he has no orange.

Just got my “new” curlie today and discovered a pleasant colouration difference to my first one. The blue and purple are slightly lighter on the new one and more richer on the first one. I think I’ll be keeping both as they provide a nice contrast together. ^_^

The one I got from the second batch has orange on it, and the one I got from the first batch doesn’t. I don’t particularly like the orange, so I’m keeping the one from the first batch. And my stepdaughter (who loves purple and likes orange) will be getting the one from the second batch.
