Mine was from the first batch and I don’t have any of the orange highlights either, just a little on the tip of the ridge of his nose that’s all, but I do like yours with the orange also!
June 12, 2009 at 5:34 pm #768748First and second batches were different. Have we sold the third batch yet? They are different from the first and second ones!
June 12, 2009 at 7:51 pm #768749Arg, Pam, you’re killing me here. 🙄
June 12, 2009 at 8:17 pm #768750how are they different?

I guess that means I have a one-of-a-kind! I shall name him “Oddball”. 😈June 14, 2009 at 1:28 am #768754Bayoudragon, I can see the room you took the picture in in Oddball’s crystal ball!
June 14, 2009 at 2:06 am #768755HA! Umm, I think that’s my warped face in the upper right corner, too… *wonders if getting Oddball was a coincidence* 😈 😆
June 14, 2009 at 4:18 am #768756Why change the colors of each batch? /:
June 14, 2009 at 4:33 am #768757I’m sorta glad they didn’t do that with every curlie! I have one silver, but only because I figured eye colors weren’t that important. Just one of each color. 😀
June 14, 2009 at 5:26 am #768758They were not changed on purpose I don’t think.. I guess no one bothered to look at batch #1 to make sure they were painting batch #2 the same. Or maybe they just changed them because it was decided that the previous batch didn’t look quite right yet? We are still very much in the learning stages here, so its very likely that at least for the first few batches of each new thing, the color arrangements will change a little as everyone tries to figure out what to do!
June 14, 2009 at 3:51 pm #768759I like the contrast that the orange creates. Of course, I really like color and lots of it, so the added zap of that orange is enough to make me wish I’d snagged one of that second batch of curlies. I like the way this color scheme is developing! 🙂
June 14, 2009 at 4:16 pm #768760It sounds like some forum members may part with their batch #2 curlies because they didn’t like the orange, so maybe you can snag one then.

I ask because, someone might have bought one from batch one, and then batch two has a different color that the batch-one-buyers might like more, so they’re left with the one they don’t want, or having to buy more than one. And then batch three is different, and more people might want that one instead. That kind of thing (in fact, I myself bought from batch one and I like this extra orange on batch two).
Like the pearl blue curls. I bought one from the first batch that had straw eyes (what I wanted)… but what if I had bought one from batch two and then got blue eyes (don’t want), I would be stuck with the one I didn’t want. That’s why I ask 🙂 If it’s not on purpose then there isn’t anything to be done, lol, but I don’t think the colors should purposely be changed.
