Huh… call me stupid if you like, but I didn’t quite understand what is going on, exactly. I’m talking about the very first post. You say that someone is missing… and someone died? I don’t know. I know my fluency in english is not perfect… could someone explain to me, please? 😕

Some one had died and her collection was for sale at an antiques shop. When unpacking the colletcion, personal belongings like a photograph and handmade quilt were found. Aetharia tried to find out from the shop owner who the family was so the personal belongings could be returned to the family.

Aetharia (I think that’s how you spell it, sorry) found a bunch of dragons and other Windstones at an antique shop (and got them for a low price). It turns out that they had belonged to the sister of the owner of the shop. She had been an collector, and she passed away. We had been worried about whether it was someone we had known or not, who had been an active forum member, and there were some personal items found in the collection.
February 18, 2008 at 11:18 pm #665022Just wondering if there are any updates yet?
Still anxiously waiting for pictures!
I just saw a digital camera in Walmart for $9.99 😆
I especially want to see the PYOs!February 18, 2008 at 11:49 pm #665023Phoenix wrote:I just saw a digital camera in Walmart for $9.99
I bought one of those – or something similar. I’m a geek for cute toys. Actually I bought 2, to find out if they are perhaps all out-of-focus. I suspect they are.
I taped a second lens (from a disposable camera) over the lens on one of these cameras so that its focus is sharp at exactly 2 inches. It makes a great close-up camera.
But what I mostly use the other one for is I USB it to my computer so it becomes a streaming video camera. Then I point it at the monitor and wiggle it about and watch the psychedelic feedback images.
Well worth the price.

Thank you for the updates. While it is a terrible loss for the community, I think that you are the perfect person to inherit her collection as you showed great love and concern for the woman’s family. I’m sure she’d be smiling if she saw just how much you treasure her Windstone “babies.”
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
