It is hard to imagine. When you are young and have no kids, I think the feeling of immortality is strong. It was for me anyway. I did so many stupid stunts without even thinking about dying.
When I was in highschool, my friend died of menengitis. We were all shocked. It happened so fast. She was so vibrant and alive. It’s a very unnerving experience and I’m sorry you are living through it!

                  I am so sorry!

When I was 12, we lost a classmate to asthma too. It shocked us… we knew she had asthma, but we had no clue what it was really about or that it could claim lives. One day she was here, the next, she wasn’t. Our teacher had to tell us because the principal just couldn’t get the words out without crying. It was a dreadful day that I shall never forget.

                  Big hugs!

asthma is strange in a way because it seems so manageable i have a light case myself. but then out of no where it goes from seemingly harmless to deadly.
😕 it’s a definite mortality check. big hugs back!
