Aw crap…I was cleaning out the lizard cage, and I took everything out to filter ALL of the sand….and usually I just scoop out the waste, without removing their basking spot or lizard house, because they dont really poop there. And I find…eggs…poor sunken in eggs, all of them dead. I never saw Luna get big enough to have that many, but I found 16….16 ….hidden deep in the sand under the lizard house. They didnt look that old either, but them being sunken like that means they’re dead. They were very nearly flat. Perhaps they were dead in the first place….being that Luna hadnt laid before, and this would be her first clutch. I’m just feeling like I didnt find them promptly enough, and they could have been saved. I’d already found someone with an incubator too, I’d known she was due, but not that she’d laid yet. I’d checked the cage, but somehow missed them… HOW did I miss them? Luna still looks the same size, not like she’d laid them yet at all. I’m depressed now…
