Daylight Savings Time

Did everyone in the US remember to spring ahead??? I’m not sure about Canada…. 😉

We dont till the end of the month. I dont think we should, personally. In the summertime, the sun stays out till 10pm here. I dont think we need anymore daylight.

It would be a lot easier if we didn’t have to mess with it, but the powers that be have decreed that we change. I’ll get used to it in about a month!!! 😆

I wish we didn’t have to deal with it either. I remembered and reset all but one of my clock before I went to bed last night. The only reason I didn’t reset that one was I didn’t want to turn on the tv to reprogram the VCR. It’s an old enough one that it doesn’t have the new daylight savings times “rules” from a few years ago programmed into it.

I used to live in AZ. Now my Mom lives there. I live in FL now and I always have to remember whether it’s 2 hrs or 3 hrs difference when I call her. Mom doesn’t always get it right and she’ll call me at odd hours. 😀

Well, my computer tried to reset the time, unfortunately for some reason it sprang ahead 2 hours!!! 😯 😆

Summer here the sun doesn’t go down until almost 11pm…as it is we’ve been getting sunrise around 7 am, and sundown at 7pm, so why bother? Just to mess up my already screwed up sleep cycle??

Grr…I hate Spring forward DST!

While I like getting home while it’s still light out, Saturday mornings are going to have me grumbling for a bit: that’s the day I have early shift, and the alarm will be set for 5:30 . . . which will feel like 4:30 . . . I hate getting up before the roosters even start crowing. But in a month or two the sun will be rising early enough that we’ll have daylight even then, and I’ll be OK again. 😉

I hurt today because of this (I’m at work) but the Dog’s gonna like it better, because it will mean we can take her out to the Dog Park again. She’s afraid of the Dark so when it gets dark early that really sucks for her. Especially since there’s no lights down there.
