I love the OW – but please give him a different eye color.Until I get authorization to use perfect blanks, eye color can’t be helped. Those were both seconds – a ruby old warrior with a lot of damage and the bad paint someone returned a while ago, and a silver lap dragon who’s other horn sheared off.
In other words, those guys won’t ever be sold because of the damage they have, but are more a way for me to move colors around without worrying about ruining a perfect piece. So if I get to do Shasta blue, rest assured they will not have red eyes.
(Ironically, the Ocean Old Warrior prototype has red eyes.)
This is the first time I have run across this thread, and it is very exciting!!! But I am still not drooling yet….I need some hoofers!

He wont have red eyes! Oh i just fell in love with him! Well when i buy him i’ll have to yank them out and put red ones in lol!
he needs themI like the dark around the eyes… I also like the red eyes. I hate the blue eyes, there is my “YUCK!!”
I like them. Hmm, my sister is a purple (well violet blue) freak and I got her hooked on growing orchids, maybe I should push Windstones onto her next…
I don’t mind a fairly subtle (like it looks here) eye ring, it can help the eye stand out when the eye and paint colors are similar. But I do think the light blue or grey eyes would work with this scheme! Oh, is that how that works. What color eyes would you like to use on Shasta blue?

Really? I didn’t realize that. Hm…
I like blue dragons with red eyes, my lapis dragon had red eyes…and I looooved him dearly. But he was shaded with gold and pearline white, not silver. For me, the blue with silver is just too…..cold I guess. I like the peacocks because the purples and gold bring warmth to the piece, the shasta blue just doesnt do it for me.
I am not a fan of red eyes, but I think they look great on that Shasta Blue OW. And the silver horns are a perfect touch IMO.
