Didn’t see a post yet, if there is I’m sorry.
I took my kids tonight and in my opinion it was pretty good. Although, I do have to say that if it weren’t for Mr. Ledger and his stellar performance that the movie wouldn’t have been that good. Good action and stunts. I do recomend seeing it. It didn’t bother me for my kids to see it and the are 5 and 7. They loved it but they also know it is not real. Some parents amy not let there kids see it. Thsi is all just my 2 cents 😉

I enjoyed it a lot. I was worried about people taking their kids to see it, but I think it’s okay. There are a couple of spots where you worry it’s going to be too graphic, but the anticipation of the violence is worse than the violence itself. See Edit Warning below.

Heath Ledger was amazing! His death was truly such a waste. This movie would have really made him in Hollywood. He could have had carte blanche (sp?)after this. Whatever he wanted.

I think Gary Oldman was very good too. He’s such a good actor. And I normally don’t like Aaron Eckhart, but his performance blew me away. Very impressive.

Good stunts. Good story. Good movie.

Edit: WARNING!! When Aaron Eckhart (Harvey Dent) becomes Two-Face towards the end, it’s pretty grusome. Maybe too much for kids.

I never liked Batman, so have no desire to see the movie. Unless of course my friend who is visiting next week wants to go on $5 Tuesdays (however much I want to avoid that theater, it’s the cheapest in the area).

Have you seen Batman Begins? I didn’t want to since I thought it would be just another “Batman” movie like the rest… IT WAS GREAT…

But if Batman is not your thing, you still might not like it. Everyone has their own taste! 😉

I saw batman begins and found it… okay… at best. I think it’s just me and my dislike of Batman. 😉 The only thing I liked were the fight scenes in the old TV series “ZAP!” “POW!” “WHAMMO!” 😆

I guess cable TV is having fun with TDK in theaters… they are playing the older Batman movies with Michael Ketion as Batman, and Val Kelmer… Those are the movies I was afraid that Batman Begins was going to be like. I am personally glad that it wasn’t.

Wow, that movie was really good. Awesome. And I can see what they said about the Jokers character being out there. Thats the truth.

I saw it and LOVED it!!!! Although, it is dark and disturbing, so I recommend anyone who hasn’t seen it go to early showings so you can spend some time afterwards in the sunlight to brighten your spirit!

Exactly why I plan on passing this one up 🙂

i saw it today it was good , Ledger played a nice nasty Joker and Two face wasnt bad either . From what i read they had to cut 15 minutes from the film to get the PG-13 rating otherwise it was going to be R ( mature rating, not sure how they rate in Canada , or the other countries)

We usually follow US ratings, I think. 😉

I thought it was pretty good. There were some scenes that I had a hard time watching and there was a lot to Ledger’s Joker that reminded me of Nicholson’s. We didn’t take the boys… They already have a hard time controlling over active imagainations (inherited from their mother 🙄 ) and we didn’t need to add any fuel to that fire; ‘tho we did let them decide if they wanted to see it or not. They decided ‘not’.
