Sorry, just needed to vent. I was so upset when I missed the first blue ice grand unicorn and then I couldn’t believe my luck that they posted another one! I was so happy…. just to have missed the deadline on bidding. AGAIN. Especially when I would’ve spent more for it than it went for both times. ARGH. Well, thanks for letting me vent. :/ Here’s hoping the color eventually becomes a limited edition run or something.
Well, in the auction they said a production painter had done it (didn’t specify that it was P.S. so I was kind of hoping this meant that it would possibly be a production color since the production painters can do it apparently…probably wishful thinking though…)
It was P.S. that painted it. You have to check the pad signature. They don’t usually call out which production painter does the painting in the auction description – just that it’s not Melody. 🙂
That must be very frustrating especially when you had a good intention to bid higher than the closing price. How did you end up missing the bidding? Maybe you can set up a reminder somehow, a bidding service or make an early bid. Here’s hoping another will come around for you someday =)
I think you can sign up for email notifications if your favorite sellers (ie Windstone) put up new items.
You might also be able to filter it so it emails you just when “Blue Ice” items are posted too. Maybe that helps for the future? Sorry you missed it, I hate when that happens to me too. 😛
