Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.March 29, 2010 at 11:28 pm #804171I would love some tips on how you cover the repair seams so well where the broken pieces are glued back together. I just got a Ruby Fledge who had a broken wing and it was TERRIBLY repaired. He’s in such bad shape that I got him to practice my repairs. So far so good but I know masking the crooked repair seam will be the toughest. I also have a shattered Frog Wizard who’s basically gonna have to be frankensteined back together…. You did such a great job covering the seam on the Wizard’s cloak, I’m dying to know how you did it!
March 29, 2010 at 11:43 pm #804172AnonymousI would be more than happy to share what I did with him…. I filled the line with Epoxy sculpt…(everything below and above the broken line) then when it was dry, I sanded the line down… with my dremel and fine sand paper, then I used more (ES) and sanded more until the break line was invisble..then useing my airbrush…he got a base coat… and was color matched back to his original color!
I hope this was helpful!April 1, 2010 at 12:11 am #804173Kalandra wrote:I would be more than happy to share what I did with him….
