Hey TDM,
Ok, please don’t think I’m awful for saying this, but I’m seriously just trying to make sure your dad is ok.
I know this is extremely paranoid sounding, but my mom watches these shows on TV all the time about these people who get caught scamming other people and get rich off of it.
One of these programs was on a pharmacist that was diluting down people’s prescriptions of chemo to around 1/3 of their proper dosage so he could make triple the profit off of one prescription.
The people getting their medicine from him (and their families) were commenting how strange it was that they weren’t experiencing any (or hardly any) of the unpleasant side effects from the chemo, but it turned out that that was because there weren’t even getting their prescribed dose. One lady even died from her cancer because her chemo didn’t work well enough to save her.
If your dad continues to not really experience anything I’d probably get the stuff tested for concentration.
Again, not trying to upset you, but I want your dad to be ok and I don’t want to see him get hurt because of a greedy pharmacist. (I’m probably totally paranoid, but I just thought I’d mention it because I don’t want anything else bad to happen in your life)

He’s finishing off his second round of chemo. They gave him prednisone with this batch and it must be working ’cause he has energy back in the things he does and his appetite is back as well. He went grocery shopping with mum on Sat. made all the meals for Sunday and was up early and made Phad Thai for breakfast this morning…

My prayers are with your father. I know what he is going through as last summer I spent a lot of time with surgery, radiation, etc for breast cancer and it is not fun.

I am so sorry, TDM. We lost my dad last summer to cancer so I know how hard this must be for you. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
