Aw, cute pic. I think that even vegetarians eat meat because they need the protein. I know my dogs will eat grass, bananas and other vegetables.
My golden retriever will eat just about anything. She loves bananas, lettuce, and well just about anything that will go in her belly including large amount of bunny beans. I even saw her try to eat a lemon once. She didn’t like the taste and made a face that said so but she still felt compelled to keep licking it.
I would help but I am just to tired to get out of bed today~

While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!

That reminds me of something funny. We were over at my boyfriend’s parents’ house, borrowing their kitchen to do some baking (the oven at our old apartment was less than stellar for that kind of thing,) and they have this little Westie terrier. Cute, hyper, crazy dog.
Anyhow, the recipe we were making involved powdered ginger, and we spilled about 1/8 of a teaspoon of it on the floor. Before we could clean it up, the dog ran over and licked it! Well, if you’ve ever tasted straight ginger, it’s strong stuff, very hot and spicy, and the dog started making faces and doing that thing where he licks his muzzle over and over and over, trying to get rid of the taste. It was so funny!

***Warning*** Please don’t keep reading if you have a weak stomach…
His absolute favorite thing to eat is cat poop! π― We used to have the cat litter box in the barn, but he would always be found with his head in there, so we had to move it to the basement where he never goes. No amount of yelling and swatting would deter him from grabbing an “eclair” every time he got the chance! Talk about EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
January 7, 2007 at 6:38 am #523445Ick! I don’t think I’d want him to lick me… π

January 7, 2007 at 6:50 am #523447We never let the dogs out without supervision after our sheep farmer neighbor manures the fields. They roll in and eat the stuff. Gross. π
