Sorry Ski!! 😳 I really didn’t mean for them to come out so similar… And truth be told, I don’t think the cheeks or anything are better on this one than on yours – in fact, I think the blending on the feathers is better on the one you have.

I’m looking at them both now and I think the face is really what makes them look alike…same cheeks and paleness around the eyes. Hmph.

…I’ve got to say, Ski, even with as much work as I just put into this one, I really LOVE the one I did for you..I think it’s really my favorite of the ones I’ve painted. If you ever sell him you have to sell him back to me!!!! XD

They look even more different when you see the pics together like that. As for you getting mine back? Not a chance!!! I like mine way too much! I was looking at it this weekend wondering, once again, how you do it! It is incredible.

Also, in case you didnt see my question in the Community section…One of the members was asking about the claims process for insurance. Did you ever get the check back for the broken peacock mom? I agree. There are simular features, but there are a lot of differences. If I had to pick one, I am not sure which one I would pick.

I had not seen that thread – but I just posted in it! No, I havn’t recieved any checks, just a receipt saying that I did indeed file the claim. Hopefully the check will go straight to you…though who knows how many years that will take. 😛
