Here is the griffin I’m trading for the fire bird griff she’s painting for me! She wanted something like Ski’s orange tabby, but with red eyes…it sort of started out that way, but parts of it definitely mutated away from that original pattern! Which is good, because I didn’t want it to be TOO close to Ski’s anyway.
He’s a lot darker than Ski’s, with a whole lot more red (in an attempt to balance with the red eyes.) There are mettalic red highlights at the base of his arms. His beak has interference gold on it so it shimmers a little, as do his wings. There’s a lot that doesn’t show up in the pictures cuz’ I didn’t get out to take them till late afternoon, but they give you the gist. thanks…I tried to make the cheeks look different from yours, but they wanted to be mostly the same…

I hope you don’t mind that it looks similar to yours…At first I was a little taken back by how similar they were, but there are differences…the eye color, the claws, the red added on. They are both beautiful. Your work is incredible, and adding the red was genius. I would have never thought of that! I like the details on the wings, too, and of course, the cheeks. I think the cheeks on this one may even look better than the ones on mine… Maaaaaybee…
