So I’m curious… what concrete ideas to you guys have floating around in your brains… for future PYOs?
What ideas are just burning to be done!? 😀
Me… I have several… the main one being that I want to do portraits of my cats on the Gryphons…
I already have a green eyed Gryphon for Rocky (B&W)… and I’ll need a yellow eyed one for Wiggy (his sister, all black)…
And then an orange eyed one for Missy (aka Miss Chievious):
And if I get REALLY ambitous… I MIGHT do my parents’ Calico and Tabby…
Other than that I have an idea for a Green/Gold/Red Ki-Rin that I really want to do… but that’s all I know of right off the bat. 😀
So… what are your ideas? ❓
Im working on a red one right now, but I dont want it to be too similar to the others. Im trying to come up with a color that would look good with red 😆
I want to do a paint horse, but im not that good yet. I also want to do a Bay horse… very similar in color to the one Arlla just did. I still need to do a Koi something, too 😛 I really just want to get a little better so I can do what i have pictured in my head!
A ferret would be sooooo cute!
I have been trying to figure out how to do stripes really good. Hence the zirin. I want to do a family of tiger PYOs, but the stripes are really hard for me to do right now. I think the zirin looks really good, but it’s not really tiger stripey.I have hundreds of ideas floating around in my head right now. I want to do a “Romeo” Dragon after my cat, a “Danny” Kirin or Dragon after my other cat. Then I want to do a beta kirin. Then…..
Griffins: Copper with gold or silver, One to match my cat Dot (Sylvester’s sis), black/green combo.
Kirin: One to trade Water (if that happens), and a horsey type one for myself.
Dragons: Red/violet, light green/violet, white/teal, black/greens, a few others, but I will have to see what they “think” like when I finally see the sculpt…Plus I want to see if I can get an airbrush before I start on all those dragons, I think I would like to try one out… 😀Cool ideas! 😀
I’m glad to see that I’m not the ONLY one who wants to turn their cat into a Gryphon! 😆
The idea started with my cat Missy… I just think her two different Tabby colors will look smashing on a Gryphon! 😀
I’m just afraid that will take more sill than I have! 😯

A couple kirins, one a rendition of my shubunkin which I’d trade with Water if she wants…
And of course my Greek Underworld series, but I’m not starting that until my finals are over.I’ve got an idea for the bottome part of a griffin I’d love to do for my husband. It would be colored like an Orange Tabby Tiger. I just don’t know about the top half.
I’m also not too sure if I would be good enough so I’ve been thinking about asking some of the folks here what their commision rates are and if they might be willing to do it. Of course I’m gonna have to wait a little bit to save up money for it either way.
I want to do an eeeeeeeeeeeevil ki-rin. That’s why I was making a fuss earlier about wanting red eyes! I’ve been planning my ki-rin bad guy since I first heard mention that the PYO line would have ki-rins in it, before I’d even seen one! But I still have a lot of planning to do, it needs to be perfect.
And eventually I want to do the lava type pattern on everything! But especially on the ki-rin and the dragons. They’d look really great with the lava crackle.
