September 27, 2007 at 3:54 am #621066WoW! That is crazy! 😯
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
September 27, 2007 at 4:01 am #621067Well if you have more money than sense…go for it I guess… 😯
For the rest of us…TIME TO UNLOAD!!! 😀
September 27, 2007 at 5:15 am #621068It’s sure nice for the seller that the bidder was so desperate. I don’t understand why people don’t research before they buy, though. 😕
September 27, 2007 at 7:00 am #621069Holy crap! 😆
September 27, 2007 at 12:16 pm #621070What’s up with that!!! 😯

Some folks just don’t think about it. I know I probably should have researched prices a little more when I was looking for Windstones on eBay at first, but I was looking for black hoofers after they retired and they almost never seemed to pop up so I set myself a limit (1.5 – 2x the original retail price) and stuck with that. If it went over, then I didn’t get the piece, much as I wanted it. I knew when it was time for me to have the piece I would win an auction.
September 27, 2007 at 2:47 pm #621072Holy crud! 😯
September 27, 2007 at 3:10 pm #621073😯 😯 Wow! Makes me want to sell something…although nothing I’ve ever sold has gone for anything like these prices. I guess it’s just the roll of the dice….wow… 😯

No joke! I saw that auction too (was watching) and I couldn’t believe it. I don’t need to know how pieces can go for that much, I just want to know how to be a seller that can get those prices! 😆 😆
September 27, 2007 at 3:54 pm #621075I can’t imagine not at least researching a little before bidding $600 for the coiled mom. I thought $300 was too much! 😯

Yikes, yes… $300 buys a lot of English books! And $600… well, that much adds a dark calico flapper to Megani’s collection 😆
September 27, 2007 at 5:45 pm #621077What I find interesting is that although she paid $610, the only way for that to happen was that someone else had to bid up to $600.
The seller bought a peacock coiled mother for $265 in August, I wonder if this is the same one but now they are selling it. If so, what a nice profit for them 🙂
