I’ve never needed to repair hairline cracks on Windstones but, if it were me, I’d use a glue as filler, sand it smooth once dry then paint over it.
But DragOn would have better advice I’m guessing.

Drag0nfeathers posted this in the Facebook group called “Windstone Editions Fan Club (Official)”. I hope she doesn’t mind that I’m copying it here. 🙂

Oh yes! That’s the stuff! Sorry Bodine! I’ve been swamped so I haven’t been checking here as often as I should.

It’s called Green Stuff by Citadel, they make paints for miniatures (amazing quality paint might I add) I use some of their colors for repairs actually. It’s like a weird green goop you can slather on messy and sand after it dries, filling the hairline cracks seamlessly, or you can water it down and try to slowly fill the crack if you want to avoid the sanding bit. I will warn you the second option is a bit tedious and a pain in the butt. Takes a long time for it to build up if you water it down to much. Dries pretty fast though. It’s used for filling cracks and joints in miniatures but I find it works great for hairline cracks on Windstones. It’s not for remaking or remolding pieces. You would need apoxie sculpt for that. It doesn’t harden nearly as solid so it’s easy to carve details in after its fully dry. It can get dried out and gritty over time so you need to be sure to keep it moist if you don’t use it often.

                            Got a busted Windstone?
