That is just not right. If you have a fake dollor bill and buy something from a store, the store is going to say,” you need to pay with a real dollor bill, or no item.” They won’t accept,” Well since you got it from some one else and did not know it was fake….just take the item and we will hope we can get a real dollor from the person that gave you the fake one.”Dude, she chose to sell them, as a seller you moraly should be responsible for MAKING sure what you are selling is true and not a fake. I just do not buy the,” it is the person that I got them froms fault.”
She returns your money then she goes after the person SHE got the from got reimbursement.

That is what I told her to do.

June 28, 2010 at 2:59 am #818883I can’t believe she forgot to insure it :negative: I think I would contact some type of law enforcement over this. The fake part is not your fault! 👿 hmmmm trying to think oh something you could do.

If you want any money you should ask Nadia ********,Where it came from..
Nadia is not the one that sold me the horse! 😡No, you shouldn’t have to contact Nadia. SHE is responsible for reselling. And, in fact, SHE could get in trouble for selling counterfeits. As a reseller, it’s her job to know what she’s selling and advertise it accurately. I would contact law enforcement and figure things out with them. Tell her that’s what you’re going to do and do it. (Don’t threaten to do it, just do it–you don’t need to get in trouble for extortion.)

I would like to add – do not send the broken horse to anybody until you get your money back. If she gets the horse back it would make less sense for her to do anything.
June 29, 2010 at 4:30 pm #818886Eeek! I actually just got the digest about this today as I am on ST’s yahoo group; I have one of her Pyt II resins (&really hope to get my hands on an original sculpt someday!!) as I used to own one of Pyt’s sons in real life. Small world (unfortunately)! 🙁
Wow, yeah. It’s REALLY obvious that IF isn’t resin; I can’t imagine anyone that has had any dealings with model horses wouldn’t know that. I mean I hardly know ANYTHING and it’s blatantly obvious to me. Sorry you are having to deal with this but yes, get your money back first before you send that fake anywhere.
June 29, 2010 at 6:54 pm #818887Forget that the horse is fake…
You asked for insurance and received a broken horse. The burden is on her to refund your money.
It’s not your fault she forgot insurance….June 29, 2010 at 10:26 pm #818888Phoenix wrote:Forget that the horse is fake…

It’s not your fault she forgot insurance….Very true.
June 30, 2010 at 12:02 am #818889She even told me this:
“I am out $350 from Nadia and now I owe money to you. I am trying to recoup what I have lost from this whole fiasco. You can be happy in the knowledge that I am out more money than you!”
In my calculation she is not out of $350 since I paid her $225 for him, so that makes her loss at $125. So who is out of more money at the moment?
Anyway she sent me an email that stated she closed her paypal account and would send me a money order as soon as she has money. Hummmm. I wonder if she really did close her account…is there a way to find out?
We will see.
I’m willing to give her a chance I guess…..but why is it that I don’t trust anyone right now?June 30, 2010 at 2:48 pm #818890Blackdesertwind wrote:She even told me this:

*tilts head* Why would she close her PayPal account??? You are very justified in not trusting her in light of all that. She is NOT out more than the $350 she paid Nadia in the first place. She will be out $350 and that’s it. And why would she think that it would make you happy that she’s out money? That’s just mean. But if she spent $350 on it and sold it to you for less, it makes me wonder if she knew and was trying to get it off her hands. Oy. Don’t hold your breath, but I certainly hope you get paid back.July 1, 2010 at 6:25 pm #818891Phoenix wrote:Forget that the horse is fake…

It’s not your fault she forgot insurance….O_O I didn’t even see that post. You asked & paid for insurance; it’s on her that she didn’t buy it.
July 2, 2010 at 1:33 pm #818892When I read that she closed her paypal and shes “sending you a money order” warning bells went off in my head. That sounds like dragon dookie to me. And even if she says “Oh I sent you the MO yesterday” then she can always say “Oh it got lost” when you say, a week or two later “Hey, where’s my money?” And she’ll complain that she sent it. DO NOT accept money orders! There is no way to track them! If it was from someone you knew on a friendly level, that’s one thing, but to send to someone who is already giving you the runaround (it sounds like) I would not accept it. Tell her she can open a new paypal account and send you money that way. You dont need a bank account, just a credit/debit card, and really you dont even need that for a new paypal account. Just a new email address. You can receive money without putting any financial information online.
If you are in Canada and the seller of the horse is in the USA, it is a FEDERAL OFFENSE to mail counterfeit items through the US postal service.
I also found this link where Paypal wants you to send them the item? Never heard of that…but it might be useful
And if Tiffany can sue eBay for allowing the sell of counterfeit items, its very likely the artist can sue the seller for selling counterfeit items of hers. I know you’re not “out to get” anyone, but because someone sold a fake item, others were hurt by it, and the artist’s name is being damaged as well. The artist might want to set an example for anyone else trying to sell or make fake items by legally pursuing the seller. *shrug* You would most likely be entitled to legal compensation as well since you were/are involved.
Also, the seller is probably subject to hefty fines for 1-selling counterfeit item(s) and 2-mailing them through the US postal service
July 2, 2010 at 3:00 pm #818893Just CALL Paypal. I am still in that fight with a fursuit commissioner I paid $400 to over a year ago and they told me all sorts of interesting stuff about her paypal account. I’m sure they could give you more information.
What a SNAKE! I would NOT trust a damn thing she says!

She had a deadline this past saturday to contact me with a copy of the MO but failed to do so. 😡
I’ve proceeded to take legal action and can no longer be in direct contact with her.
I can’t get into details anymore but will let you know the outcome of this situation once it’s resolved. 🙂 -
