I think that color scheme would look very nice on a mother dragon…with her coiled pose it would flatter her nicely. 😀
Oh wow!! I didn’t see the auction end- was busy packing- and I logged onto eBay just now and could cry. Thank you all of you that liked him! Who all was bidding? I can’t tell.
Blackdesertwind, I’m so sorry you lost! I don’t think I can make another dragon just like this fellow. He had so many thin layers of paint that matching the color would be nearly impossible. I might do something similar in the future someday, but I can’t make one just like him. He’ll always be unique.

I was watching and was pretty amazed to see it jump that much in the last 30 seconds! Sorry BDW 🙁 But congrats to Nam on the great selling price! 😀 I think Passier got it – same person who got the black fire kirin, right?
(btw, Nam – when I was with them on Sunday, John was showing this emperor off to me. 🙂 He seemed really proud of you, as well he should be! ^_^ Awesome job! He’s beautiful in person – I LOVE his greens)

Yay! I’m so happy you got to see him in person! His wings were my favorite. The reminded me of leaves. Did you like him better in person?

Yes, I did! The green on his sides and wings is just AMAZING, and the depth and richness of the color, especially on the tail, is just luscious. He’s gorgeous! 😀

That would be me. 🙁 My husband said I could get it for Christmas, and I really hoped to have it under the tree. Oh well. I will just have to wait for something else beautiful to come along. He really is beautiful. Is the person who got him a forum member?
