Comic Book Collectors

Are there any comic book collectors out there? Or anyone who lives near a comic book store?? I broke one of my statues and really, really want to replace it. I’m looking for the Sandman Manga Statue…it looks like this:

If anyone sees one, please, please, pretty please let me know.

I know of various shops here in Edmonton that sell those kind of statues, but I don’t think they have that one. They tend to sell the scantily clad ones. 🙄

sadly I’ve yet to see any sandman statues at any of the comic book shops I’ve been to.

I would help but I am just to tired to get out of bed today~

I am so annoyed at myself, I was re-arranging and managed to knock him and the Sandman snowglobe I had sitting on the top self. Broke both.

I get my comics shipped to me from a store I have a subscription with online. I tried going to one of the comic shops in Savannah, but I never felt welcomed there like I did in the comic shop in my parents home town (I still feel welcome going in that one).

OMG! Sandman! I don’t know if anyone locally sells it, but I’ll see if I can find one. I’m waiting for the bookends of Death and Dream to come out!

There’s a local comic book store where I live that I used to frequent. I’ll see if they’ve got it. I hope you find another one!

I’ve seen a lot of statues like that based on comic book characters are Toys R Us. I can’t remember if Dream was there, though.

Unfortunately these were a limited edition release so they wouldn’t be available anywhere other than comic book shops. And since he came out in 2003, he is nearly impossible to find now.

Thanks for looking for me! I really appreciate it. And I’m counting my pennies to see if I can get the Dream and Death bookends too. 😆

I used to collect them but after they hit the 3.00 a piece mark i said screw that . I have many long boxes upstairs in the attic full of comics from the 60’s through the 90’s .

Id say my most prised is the Fantastic 4 #2 from 1968 i think it is

Well, I have them all in trade paperback and I’m getting the Absolute Editions as they come out. I’m hoping someone (my bf) will get me the Absolute Edition of the Watchmen for my birthday or Christmas.
