Hi, Maya!
It’s me, Bowhead Whale. I’ve been looking at your pieces and I find them very interesting.
OK, it’s just a suggestion, but still, I have an idea for you: would you like to make these sculptures in different colors? I think it would add even more power to your works. For example, aside with the white shades, you could also experiment, on your sculptures, such colors as imitations of stones and minerals (copper with/without oxydation; silver, gold, onyx, malachite, marble…) as well as simple colors as blue, green, pink…Of course, as I said, it’s just a suggestion. But… what do you think? 🙂

Many of my sculptures express themselves through their shadows. With a white material I have therefore the strongest contrast. We have tried with colors and had to realize that many of the pieces lose their strength. We also tried black. It looks great; very elegant. We do have black journey stones for sale.
For now we decided against coloring, but I know it will be considered again and I expect the day of artistically colored and painted “Forms of the Feminine Spirit” is not that far away.
I could see a sculpture like “the rainbow light meditation” in great colors. I would not want to fake a real stone or bronze. Do you have any ideas of a colored sculpture you would like to see?

I would so very much like to see the ‘healing’ stone in shades of deep blue… and, for some odd reason, in my mdeitations lately, I’ve seen ‘balance’ in shades of rich rose. If that came out in that color, I’d feel a need to add her to my altar.
Blessings for all you do-
