Well, if this is the OW from the thread that Ski posted, then I finally know what the VF w/Gold Spots is! I can even make out what looks likes spots on the wings. It was killing me to see the description and not have a picture anywhere….
Maybe Nessiemom will post another pic for us so we can see him in his full glory? It’s been a few months since her last post though, so am not sure if she’s still hanging around?
I’m curious myself for a better picture, if this is one Melody considers more “violet bronze”… she said that on the BVF’s auction about being more of a blue violet bronze rather than flame. I’d like a picture of my OW’s cousin! 😀
No, Ski cleared this up for us. The photo of the OW at the beginning of this post was a OOAK Melody made- if I’m understanding what you’re asking, that is!

Well, my only question really is about getting another pic. Ski’s link had the auction posted in it. Even though it’s gone on ebay, it’s the original link name with “Violet Flame” in it. Ravnheart’s list has a single Prototype OW listed as “Violet Flame-Gold Spots” (so it would be an OOAK, though similar to others), and since her list started from someone else’s older list, I would think that would be correct… (though I’m not saying I couldn’t be wrong). But it sounds like unless someone has a copy of the auction saved on their harddrive, Nessiemom tells us, or Melody remembers, we may not know for sure beyond assumptions or guesses.
There were the two LE VFs, then the single VF that was pictured in the first page of this topic, then the VF with gold spots, which was really cool, then the Blue VF. Does that help? 🙂 The single VF pictured is a VF, so please dont confuse anyone by labeling it VBronze…I am sure the COA will say VF. 😉
