Where can I buy some Swarovski crystal Rhinestones like the ones you use for your windstone?
Are the ones you use with Hotfix Adhesive? What glue do you use? Do you have a link?

I buy my swarovski jewels online here
          http://www.jewelrysupply.com/
Lots of colors and sizes and they have the flatbacked, hotfix and the pointy bottomed ones for pretty decent prices.

I don’t know..ask Wolflodge! I bet she knows where to get them. We buy ours in big batches directly from Swarovski. They don’t have an adhesive on them. We use something that is similar to white glue, but stronger.

Do you use Elmers glue to glue the crystals and eyes in??

                isn’t Elmers “white” glue?

you can also go here for swarvoski crystals: http://www.firemountaingems.com/crystal_beads.asp?navsrc=2

Yep and I’m pretty sure that is how we have glued in the eyes and horns when I have been down there

                    😀 Thanks everyone!
Melody I really like the stones on the copper-gold emperor (says
gold-colored Swarovski crystal in the description) and I found them to be similar to the one on my PYO dragon which is TOPAZ.
Are they the same color? And when you order from Swarovski, what color do you specify?
Is it light Colorado topaz that you order?

What size is the biggest stone on the emperor? 6mm? Sorry for all the questions but I want to make sure I get the right ones. 😳

I’m so nosy! Why do you need the same size as in an emperor?

Because I have a ring that has the same size stone but I prefer the color that is on the emperor. And I’m attempting to do a pendant and I was going to match the stone to the one in the ring once it is changed. Oh and I purchased an ammonite pendant on eBay that has these stones but in a different color that I want to change also.

Windstone orders gems based on SS (stone size) and PP (pearl plate) sizes, instead of mm (millimeters).

The emperor’s two gem sizes are:
                          24 SS and 24PP

This page has a chart to convert those sizes into millimeters:
(scroll to the bottom for the chart- sorry, I don’t know this seller, they just happened to have the only chart I can find online!)

🙁 I can’t see the chart. It says Unauthorized Error 401.
